Constantine Chauffeurs is a trading name of Constantine Group (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide a pre-booked private hire chauffeur service in and around Glasgow, Edinburgh and across the UK. You can reach us at hello@constantinechauffeurs.co.uk or 0141 474 7250.
These terms apply to every booking you make with us. By booking a journey, you agree to them.
All journeys are pre-booked. We do not accept street pickups. Your booking is confirmed once we have confirmed it to you in writing (by email, WhatsApp or text) along with the vehicle and price. Please check your confirmation and let us know immediately if any detail is wrong.
The price we quote is the price you pay. It will not change unless the journey itself changes — for example a different route, additional stops, extra passengers or waiting time beyond what is included (see section 5). Any such change will be confirmed with you before it is applied.
When you book, we authorise the fare on your card through our payment provider. This places a hold on the amount but does not take payment at that point. After your journey is complete, we take (“capture”) the final fare. In most cases this is the amount we quoted. It may differ only where the journey itself changed — for example a different route, additional stops, or waiting time beyond what is included (see section 5) — and we will confirm any such change with you.
Your chauffeur does not handle cash. Card processing is handled securely by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not see or store your full card details.
You can amend a booking free of charge up to 48 hours before pickup, subject to availability. To cancel or amend, contact us as early as you can.
Generous waiting time is included as standard: up to 60 minutes at airports (from the time you land) and 15 minutes for all other pickups. Beyond the included time, waiting may be charged per 15-minute period at the applicable rate, which we will confirm.
We confirm the exact meeting point with you when you book. We monitor inbound flights and adjust your pickup for delays where we reasonably can. We are not responsible for delays or costs caused by circumstances outside our control.
You are responsible for any loss or damage you cause to the vehicle. Where the vehicle requires cleaning as a result of soiling, a reasonable cleaning charge may apply.
Child seats can be arranged on request — please tell us the child’s age when booking and give us as much notice as possible. Please let us know of any accessibility requirements in advance so we can do our best to accommodate them.
We aim to be punctual and professional on every journey. However, we are not liable for delays or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, or events affecting the road network. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the value of the fare paid for the affected journey.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
